In this course you will learn to use Emotional Freedom Techniques, (EFT) or Tapping to address the emotional issues that affect your weight, what you eat, when you eat, and the emotional issues that are behind your weight.
Think about it. There are emotions associated with food, eating and the weight our bodies carry. One person can eat to feel emotionally better, think comfort food. Another person can eat to punish herself, unconsciously knowing that by gaining weight she will be heavier and thus less attractive. Many people eat particular foods to arouse particular emotions. Think of the kinds of things we eat at Thanksgiving.
The place a person puts on the weight, on the shoulders, the belly, or the legs, has a biological meaning. In nature, one way by which animals protect themselves is to make themselves look larger. Think of a chicken puffing up it's feathers. Extra weight on a person can often be a self defense response to a situation that is continually perceived as a threat.
Duration of the course
The course last five weeks, meeting once each week for 90 minute classes.
