Watch the video below, which is Part 1 of an interview with MaryLee McDaniel. 17 years ago she had been in a car accident in which she experienced whiplash. Up until February of 2010 she could not turn her head to the right at all without pain. But after Tapping for a few minutes for both the physical pain and the anger she had experienced with the car accident she was able to turn her head without pain. And unlike other health techniques which she had used, the relief has been permanent.

If you play any sport you’ve had the experience of doing it really well at least once. At least once you’ve taken that putt or drive or shot and placed it right where you wanted to. You've performed the physical activity beautifully. And then you’ve had the experience on the other side of the spectrum where you “know” you are not feeling “right”, you are uncomfortable and you just know that you are going to slice or hook your shot. And you do.

How Does this work?

How can EFT help with so much?
The secret is in the following statement: The Cause of All Negative Emotions is a Disruption in the Body's Energy System. And the great majority of physical symptoms of pain and physical dysfunction have an emotional cause.
Think about something pleasant that you've experienced. It could be something as simple as remembering the smell of freshly baked bread. Notice that when you remember or imagine a pleasant experience, emotions and feelings are related to the experience. And these emotions and feelings have an effect on your body.
Did you notice that while thinking of the pleasant memory you might have smiled, or that you began to salivate? This is an example of how a thought produces a physical effect on the body.
Just the memory, or the thought of warm bread, fresh from the oven can often make a person begin to salivate. That is not a sign that there is something wrong with your mouth or your memory. That is how your mind/body works.
When a person remembers or imagines a negative experience, the body also responds, but typically with pain or dysfunction in the body's various systems. A thought or memory, whether conscious or unconscious, of a negative experience has an effect on the body. And a negative thought or memory causes negative results in the body. A negative thought is a disruption in the body's energy system. As soon as you clear out the disruption, the pain and negative emotion disappear, along with the symptoms of the emotion.
With golf, tennis, or any other sport, a person has to be able to relax so that the body performs the mechanical action smoothly and easily. Any negative emotion that the player experiences causes tension in the body, tension in the muscles, the result of which is diminished performance.
This means that if you are worried about the next stroke you are about to make, your worry is going to affect that stroke. If you are about to hit over water and you are thinking about the last time when you actually put your drive in the water, you are not relaxed! And that negative emotion will affect your performance negatively.
